Quality Inn Geneseo

I was visiting Geneseo to help my brother in a medical emergency. Naturally, it's difficult to get a good rate at the last minute. The Quality Inn had the lowest rates I could find. I was expecting a less than positive experience. Just the opposite was true. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. I had a refrigerator in the room. The HDTV did not offer Bluetooth capability but there were ample stations to choose from. Continental breakfast was available each morning with all the basics. What made this stay particularly positive were the people at the front desk who were very accommodating. I needed to print out numerous forms, which I was able to do in their business office without incurring any extra expense. I needed to find a notary and a place to digitize documents. They pointed me in all the right directions. I am very grateful for the help they provided.

This hotel is a two-story building with interior corridors, but no elevator, connected to a banquet hall. The hotel's public spaces have a traditional, "country home" style decor. The beds were lower to the floor than in most hotels, and the smaller size of the room would not allow for two queen-size beds. The bathroom was also on the small size, where the edge of the bathroom door would rub against the edge of the toilet. However, the room was clean, comfortable, and functional. It was in generally good repair except for a couple of the lampshades which could use replacement. Nice,large in-room refrigerator, but the TV was of a smaller size. The hot breakfast gets bonus points for offering bacon, which is getting increasingly rare at free hotel breakfasts at this price point. Staff service was excellent. This Quality Inn is a smaller property serving a smaller market, but it seems to be consistently more expensive than similar Quality hotels in larger cities/markets - indeed, it was more expensive han the four previous hotels I stayed at over this summer. Regardless, if you happen to find yourself needing a room in this part of Western New York, this hotel is a pretty solid choice.

This is the nicest quality inn I have ever stayed at and we travel for a living. The staff is amazing and so helpful. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Stayed July 2025; this is by far the best Quality Inn I’ve ever stayed in. Room was clean, outdoor pool was a nice bonus, that was clean, continental breakfast has all you need. Definitely worth it.

Nice little Quality Inn, and would recommend it to others looking for a place to stay nearby. Rooms and hotel lobby and breakfast room were clean, the breakfast was good (for a hotel) and the shower had good pressure and could be adjusted. My complaints lie in: The beds were uncomfortable, and they had only three pillows per bed that were also uncomfortable. I ended up tossing and turning frequently. The cleaning service also is questionable, as we opened the mini fridge and someone's almost-empty milk was still in there.

Big rooms, couch, foot stool, nice size fridge and microwave, deak / work station. Walking to a few different restaurant venues or grocery shopping is very easy. Small hotel breakfast. Food was hot, fresh and well taken care of. Front desk folks were friendly and helpful. Some quality inns have decreased in quality the last few years... THIS location has not.. this has been an excellent experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again

Sometimes snowstorms strand you in surprising places. Mine happened to be the Quality Inn in Geneseo, and honestly? I'd do it again a hundred times over. Let's be real: Quality Inn doesn't exactly conjure images of pristine perfection. But this place? Seriously the cleanest rooms this side of the Mississippi. I'm talking hospital-corners-meet-minimalist-spa clean. The kind of clean that makes you wonder if you're the first person to ever stay in the room (you're not, but still). Quiet, comfortable, and exactly what anybody stranded in upstate New York winter chaos would want. No frills, no fuss... just a well-run operation that clearly takes pride in their property. The surprise factor alone bumps this from "fine, whatever" to "genuinely great." Would I choose to get snowed in here again? Absolutely. Sometimes the best discoveries come from Mother Nature's mandate. This Quality Inn gets it, and then some.

So far, I've been staying here at least 2x a year. I've received kind and courteous service. The rooms have been comfortable and my stay was peaceful.
